Apple's moving Sign in with Apple relay addresses to a new domain. Announced 24 Aug. New ones get issued on an iCloud subdomain, not the old appleid relay. Existing ones keep working. Rolls out later this year. Build stays green. It breaks in a regex someone wrote in 2021.

Prompt cache TTL starts when the request starts, not when the response ends. Anthropic's docs say it straight. Stream for 4 minutes and you've got about a minute to land the follow-up before the 5 minute cache is gone. So thinking longer costs you cache. Nobody budgets that.

Claude Code falls back to the AGENTS file now. One line in the 2.1.277 changelog, no announcement. It only gets read when a project has no CLAUDE file, so Claude's own still wins where both exist. Dullest interop win of the year and probably the most useful.

Firebase Extensions shuts down 31 March 2027. Deployed ones keep running, they're Cloud Functions and Eventarc underneath. What stops is updating config, patching or uninstalling through Firebase. An extension you can't patch or remove isn't deprecated. It's stranded.

Dart 3.13 dropped the built-in fallback root certificates. The VM used to carry its own copy when the system trust store is missing. Now it's --root-certs-file or nothing. Slim containers is where you meet it. Still the right call. A cert bundle nobody updates isn't a fallback.

Cloudflare gave Workers proper preview environments on 22 Sep. Each preview runs under the same Worker with its own config, URL and logs, and Durable Objects get their own namespace and storage. Wrangler 4.135 or later. Preview URLs were never the hard part. The state was.

Since 9 September, App Store Connect won't accept an iOS app that targets below iOS 13. It's one line on Apple's upcoming requirements page. iOS 13 shipped in 2019 and Apple still had to write the rule down in 2026. The long tail is always longer than the roadmap says.

DMARC got rewritten in May and pct is gone. RFC 9989 obsoletes 7489. The percentage tag is out, replaced by t= for test mode. Two values, y or n, default n. Fine by me. pct=50 was a coin flip people kept calling a rollout plan.

Kotlin 2.4.20 deprecated watchosArm32. It goes in 2.5.0. The reason is in the release notes: Apple is dropping 32-bit watchOS, so the target has to go for Xcode 27. Shipped 7 Sep. This is what multiplatform costs. Someone else's hardware team writes your removals.

Honestly, I still feel Claude is superior. A lot of hand holding required to the thing you want from Astra/Sol

This post carries a quoted post. The needles only read the words, so it is left out of the account's score.
