Postneedle

Waiting for your first sentence

Type your post. Five needles read it while you write, before anyone else does.

This is how it looks with the browser extension: the needles sit next to the Post button, and the button warns you when one is in the red. Nothing here posts anywhere.

What the five needles read

Sounds AI-written
Tidy groups of three, "it's not X, it's Y", generic uplift, and no detail only you could know. Clear writing alone does not move it.
Humblebrag
Showing off while pretending to be modest, grateful or annoyed. "We hit $40k MRR and one customer is 61% of it, which worries me" reads low. "So humbled, somehow we crossed $40k" reads high.
Engagement bait
A post built to farm replies or follows: "comment X and I'll send it", "agree?", a hook with the substance held back. A real question you want answered is not bait.
Says nothing
A platitude nobody could disagree with and nobody will remember. Short is fine. Empty is not.
Picks a fight
Contempt for the people on the other side. A strong opinion stated without a sneer stays out of the red.

Questions people ask

Can it prove a post was written by AI?

No, and it does not try to. It tells you how your own draft reads. Never use it to accuse anyone.

Does it work for LinkedIn and in Spanish?

Yes to both. Switch the preview to LinkedIn, and write in English or Spanish.

How is it this fast?

It runs on Jev, a System One model from TypeSafe AI that answers yes or no questions with a probability instead of writing text. All five questions go in one request and come back in well under a second, for about four thousandths of a cent.

Is it free?

This page is free, with no account. Membership, with the needles inside X and LinkedIn and your own needles, is planned.
