#9 of 190 accounts read, fewer needle hits than 95% of them. The leaderboard

2 of these 20 posts are strong enough to show on their own: specific, new, first-hand and usable. With 3, this account joins Find, where people look for builders worth following. The next reading counts the newest posts.

Johnny, the last 20 posts, read by six needles; the score counts the 9 that are words only. A reading of the words, not a verdict on the person, and not a prediction of reach.

New model launch rule: I don't care about endless benchmarks. I run 3 things on my own code: fix one real bug, one small refactor, count files it touched that it shouldn't. Argon first results: Excellent for frontend, at Opus 5.5 level, still very behind on backend.

Shinybox started because my screenshots, links and notes were scattered across several apps. Now it's one inbox on iPhone, iPad and Mac syncing with iCloud Automatic tagging on-device using Siri, summarization, and app intents so that you just tell Siri to add stuff to it. I know there are lots of apps like this, but had to make one tailor made for me. Will be on the App Store for free hopefully still today.

A link on a browser. A screenshot in Photos. An idea in Notes, a video, clipboard. I wanted one place to collect it all. So I built Shinybox A personal repository, synced across iPhone, iPad & Mac, with automatic tagging & summaries using Apple intelligence and app intents. Completely local. Built it for myself but maybe someone will like it. Free. Coming soon, now in Apple review.

Tabs on macOS, but across apps.Drop Mail onto Calendar in Tessel and they share one tile under a glass tab bar. Every window gets its own space, nothing overlaps, and your layout survives unplugging your monitor.

My coworker used up a Codex $500 weekly cap overnight because Astra added 65K lines of code that, in te end, didn't even work right. We add to clean up around 40% of the code, and of course review time/cost went up of course. More code isn't better code.. Guess who cleaned up the code.?

Implementing more agent features: Monitoring and scheduled tasks: “Check this page daily and notify me if the price drops, the status changes" Multi-tab research mode: “Find 5 suppliers of X, open each, and build a comparison.” Record and replay: do a task once, then save it as a reusable saved task. Handing results to other apps: once an agent run finishes, offers to create a Calendar event, a Reminder or a draft email I am so excited about this app because while all of this is common on the desktop, on IOS it is very rare to find.

Also implemented a feature to eatch for pages changes but way more useful than what Safari does, it will watch the entire page and notify whenever there is any change , or and can fire an action in response which Safari cannot.

iOS developers, do you think this is good for a free app just by posting on Reddit and on X. Here doesn't count foe me because I get almost no views due to being a small account. On Reddit, I got 21k. What do you think?

Ran out on my Claude and Devin so went back to codes. How can anyone work like this. 6.1 Sol is excruciating slow. Astra is not much better , it's like going back in time to the past using codex. Come one.. how did it get this way?

Rectangle, but your windows arrange themselves. Tessel tiles every window on your Mac, fills gaps when you close one, and lets you tab different apps together. Drag and drop, no shortcuts to memorize.

This opus is really a work of art. The human way which it communicates, anticipates, told me it was very late, the session had been going on for hours, and that I hold go rest. Adapted the planning so that it could continue to work with my intervention, and the stuff that needs terminal sudo will leave for tomorrow. Beautiful!

One of the things about Apple development the days I don't see anyone talking about is how difficult it is to get a good name for the app. Everything is already taken. I am trying to publish a new app, and all the names I had chosen and the backups are taken....
