nice! i just realized that ASO tool i was using to determine if i should build my app is total bullshit i just got access to apple ads and put in the keywords and the popularity with 1/5, while on the ASO tool it was 76/100 100 likes and i'll expose the tool!

one of the factors that motivated me to build the app i released is the fact that aso tools showed me that it was a popular keyword with not much competition, but when i actually released it and got access to apple ads, the keyword wasn’t nearly as popular as the aso tool indicated. i still believe the app will do well if i market it well, but just putting this message out there to beware of aso tools, they can be straight up BS.

DAY 1 OF BUILDING IN PUBLIC: My app has been released for 7 days today, and I've officially switched from build mode -> marketing mode This is where I'm at right now One thing I'm debating changing is the name of the app to something unique, so that it is searchable. 'Sunrise Alarm' is broad and you'll get a lot of results by searching that. I'm thinking of changing the name to [unique name] - Sunrise Alarm Clock, to still keep the high traffic key words in the title.

this is what i did last year, i’m still jobless and im lowkey going crazy in all seriousness though, i feel like doing this took real courage, i freed myself from the expectations of society. having a gap year on my resume was always so scary to me. i didn’t even plan for it to take this long. it’s been a year and 9 months in my first year i traveled, started my first business, and failed in a month, went back to the job market, hated it with all my being, decided to try business again, i got into ai, started my consulting business, built 2 apps, 1 that failed, 1 that’s doing pretty good but it’s a free app, and soon im about to start talking about my 3rd app and my first ios app i’ve also gotten more serious about content creation, and creating a personal brand, i’ve been posting on multiple platforms i’m not gonna lie, i’ve wasted all my savings, and i’m also getting into debt, and i’m now on the verge of maybe making money with my businesses for the first time, so only do this if you’re okay with suffering the consequences anyway, probably nobody read this, but if you did thank you for reaching the bottom, i really appreciate everyone who interacts with my posts and puts up with my moodiness and randomness on their feed ❤️

I did a technical interview for an FDE role a few days ago. It was in a simulated online environment and I had to get the code to fetch data from 2 APIs, merge them and post using another API in a particular format and order I got it to work using AI Then he asked me to explain the code That's where I failed the interview Honestly I was quite disappointed because I know I would have done well in the role, and I think the way I was interviewed was quite archaic, the interviewer was just monitoring me and asking me questions like a robot I don't know, what do you think? Should technical interviews be like school exams? or should they be used to assess whether the individual has the right foundational skills to excel in the role

DAY 0 OF BUILDING IN PUBLIC: I've decided to build in public!!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 My app is possibly the SIMPLEST app anyone is building in public right now, and I want to show that it's possible to go from 0 --> Making a living just with good marketing What is my app? My app is called Sunrise Alarm. Search for "Sunrise Alarm: Wake Up Clock" to find it on the iOS app store, or find it in my profile. What does it do? It's a self adjusting alarm clock that adjusts to the sunrise every day. Why? Viewing morning sunlight regularly, ideally when it's 0-10 degrees above the horizon is one of the top 5 things you can do to improve your health. It regulates your circadian rhythm, and spikes your cortisol level when your first wake up, giving you energy to be your best self for the rest of the day. Here is my plan: X: My main goal here is to build in front of other builders, and find a sense of community while I'm on my way to my goal. I will be posting my progress and challenges on the way. I will post here every day. This is Day 0. Tiktok & Reels: This to me is the hardest part, because I'm not a natural when it comes to the camera, but I'm hoping with time that I will develop a system that makes me feel more comfortable. Right now I have 2 campaign ideas I'm considering: 1. Talking about the benefits of morning sunlight for those with mood dysregulations due to a dysregulated circadian rhythm, as well as to those with insomnia. Waking up to morning sunlight every day makes it makes it much easier to sleep when you need to at night, given that you avoid harsh light at night. 2.
